Moisture is one of the most frequent contaminants in compressed air systems. Its presence is caused by the fact that the water vapor present in the atmosphere is introduced into the compressor, where, as the temperature rises, its concentration can increase considerably. Water vapor and liquid water are responsible for most of the problems encountered in compressed air systems.
